Glanmire Parish Accounts

May 18, 2011

AccountsThe accounts for the year ending 31st December 2010 have just been published. This has been the year when nearly €500.000 was expended on the modernization of St Joseph’s Church.

Despite this the accounts show that the amount owed to the bank is € 300.000. This dramatic reduction in the debt is due to the success of the second collection at weekend masses and to the fact that all the seats were sponsored. In addition, some parishioners donated to the fund apart from the seat sponsorship. It is most encouraging to find that the end of year accounts are not as dramatically in the red as one would expect. Thanks to all who have made this possible
