Glanmire Parish, County Cork, Ireland - part of the Catholic Diocese of Cork and Ross.

Baptism Teams

There are three Baptism teams in Glanmire who hold information meetings for parents who have requested baptism for their child. The members of the teams are as follows:

Team A   Margaret Fahey, Mairead Foley and Mathilda O’Flynn

Team B   Frances McCann, Marie McSweeney, Rosaleen Murphy and Rose Holland

Team C   Marilyn Field, Miriam O’Leary and Maura Ryan

Parents who intend having their child baptized arrange with the secretary, Eileen McCarthy, to attend one of the information evenings well in advance of the date of the baptism. In the week prior to the baptism the priest who will celebrate the baptism will arrange to call to the parents’s home to discuss the ceremony and to fill in the registration form.
