The seven sacraments are ceremonies that point to what is sacred, significant and important for Christians. They are special occasions for experiencing God’s saving presence.
The Sacred Sacraments are Baptism, Holy Communion, Penance and Reconciliation, Confirmation, ,Holy Orders, Matrimony and The Anointing of the Sick
The word ‘Sacrament‘ comes from the Latin ‘to make sacred or holy’.
